The CCTV Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and repairing surveillance camera systems. This includes site surveys, equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of both hardware and software issues. The role is crucial for ensuring the security of premises through effective video surveillance.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV systems
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on security systems
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and changes
- Achieve monthly sales objectives
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in electronics or related field preferred
- Experience with CCTV systems and video surveillance
- Knowledge of networking and cabling standards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
